I'm the type of weirdo that doesn't want to go back to previously finished games because it tends to feel like I'm wasting time since I have a load of games to still play through. So I usually watch movies/TV shows or binge on my Youtube subscription feed

Pixel Puzzles Ultimate is good if i'm trying to wind down to go to sleep, Shenzhen Solitaire is for when i'm frustrated and just need to click, and i pick a random on-going RPG and just grind for items/levels/whatever if boredom is genuine so at least i'll feel like i accomplished something afterwards.

Slay the Spire. It's a deck-building rogue-like where you can play as three different character classes. You start with a basic deck and add cards from there as you battle monsters. It just came out of Early Access, and is planned to be ported to consoles and mobile soon.

The thing is, your character is the only one with cards. You use the cards in hand to react to the shown "intents" (attack, debuff, other action, all of the above...).
If you want to take a look at actual gameplay, Northernlion on YouTube has done more than 450 episodes of gameplay.

Strangely enough, I rarely play anything when I'm bored. I'm bored when I don't have anything I feel like playing, else I'd be already playing something, and in turn, it means there's rarely ever any case where I'm bored and willing to play anything... so when I'm bored, I tend to try to progress on some projects I have pending, or I browse the internet/Youtube.
Although sometimes when I feel tired of playing the same games I'm currently playing, I'll go to the free games section of Steam or itch.io, download a handful of them, and try them. I never really had a go-to game - I always get bored of it eventually, and move on to something else.

Dwarf Fortress. Factorio. Oxygen Not Included. Those three can kill boredom in a moment.

One Finger Death Punch. I only need to use two fingers and heighten my reflex

I should have over 15k hrs probably more :P on Dota if you calculate the time i spent since it was a map on Warcraft III.
Nevertheless it never stops to entertain me, for at least a couple of games, when i don't know what else to play. ^^
We should really try Mars. From the gameplay i saw, he seems like a really fun hero. :D

I don't have time for boredom. I always have way more things to do than I can possibly accomplish in any given time period. I do, however, have a few games which I am always wanting to play (if I ever find the time). Neverwinter Nights (1 & 2), Diablo II LOD, Counter-Strike, SWTOR, League of Legends, and something from my considerable backlog of won games. From that list, backlog is usually top priority, but League can be squeezed into 30 minutes.

Well, Diablo 2 IS an almost 19-year old game now (released in June of 2000), so that's to be expected.

The graphics were top-notch when the game was published in 2000. )
Seriously, though, if you dislike that particular art (hand-drawn, pixelated), then you won't like the look of it. If you don't mind so much, however, you will notice that it is actually very-well drawn and animated. As far as gameplay goes, nothing has yet to match it. Path of Exile is more recent, and quite good, but it still can't reach the bar(s) set by Diablo 2, LOD. It was a top-notch game when it was released, and it was honed and perfected over the next few years. That is why I sunk something like 15K hours into it without getting bored, and also why so many gamers continue to play it to this day. (Yes, it is way better than Diablo 3.)

Hello my fellow peeps!
What do you play when you're bored? What's your "pick-up whenever" game and continue playing?
Earlier, when I get bored or just want to relax, I would fire up the trusty Euro Truck Simulator 2 and play that, but now I'm stuck on what to play without thinking where I left off.
Thanks for the input =)
