half-life 2 actually. 10 years ago. got a code with my new graphics card. But never used steam (and never really played the game back then) .... then three years back I got skyrim and I had to make a new steam account to play it because I had forgotten about the old one ;) by now I know it still works but I can't merge the two :/

Killing Floor. A friend had given me a Guest Pass and I played that game for hours, so I knew what game I was going to get.

7 Days To Die followed by SpinTires.

My first game on Steam was Grand Theft Auto Classics that included III, Vice City and San Andreas.

I didn't know about Steam until I got Fallout: New Vegas for Christmas and it was basically just a disc with a code.

I was there from the beginning, Half-Life 2 and the Orange Box

Halflife 2..tho i hated steam back then it brought my win me/xp computer to a crawl when it was running so didnt use steam for years after that.
