Much to my own surprise (I thought I joined last July) my cake day came and nearly went without my notice, save for the multiple well-wishers.

My coffers are nearly empty so I was going to wait until my peasants were taxed nigh unto death but I just dissolved the monasteries and plundered their riches returned their wealth into the hands of the people, of course.

I've neither entered the GA (I have the game) nor voted in the poll, but I had to post in order to say that, while I've never seen ANYTHING King Lear that I'm aware of, my favourite Billy Waggerdagger adaptation that I've ever seen would probably have to be this version of Titus Andronicus...Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Lange, Alan Cumming, how can you go wrong?

One modern remake I really liked was Coriolanus, despite not having much respect for Gerard Butler's acting ability. He surprised me. Ralph Fiennes was, as always, awesome.
