I prefer L4D2. It has all L4D campaigns and more weapons and enemies.

Why not both of them? Just wait for the summer sale and buy them for a couple of dollars/euros/whatever :D

I did the same a while ago, 5€ and I got both games :)

L4D2. More campaigns, game modes, weapons, zombies. And Valve added all L4D campaigns and characters to it.

I liked the characters better in L4D, but theres more zombies in L4D2, which makes it more interesting, so L4D2.

L4D2 is better :)

L4D 2- melee weapons + campagins from L4D 1 so... :D

only real reasons to get L4D1 are if you dislike being unable to shove spam in campaign (unless they changed this in an update, I dunno), and you don't like the jockey, charger, or spitter (which can be an infuriating part of the game, for sure, but it does balance the game better).

L4D is the most fun in Versus mode, and L4D1 VS is pretty much dead. And as said, every L4D1 map has been ported, with the new special infected and meelee weapons. So: You should get L4D2 :)

L4D 2 you will find more people playing than in the first one and you will find the first one inside + more weapons and more special zombis, all advantage ^^

i have both but i never touched l4d2 ...so i dont know...i guess L4D2 cause the others said it

I bought both once during a sale for them, and then only after realized that L4D2 has essentially everything from L4D1 ported over. So my time for L4D1 is like 45 minutes whilst my time for L4D2 is like, 40-50 hours or something, lmfao.
