I don't know if your problem is because you're in Germany, but I'm in Chile and was having exactly the same problem until now, but launching (or idling) the game on Steam and then checking GOG Connect back again shortly after that did the trick for me... (:P)

I had that with Tempest too, then I idled the game for a moment and tried again and it worked. Might be a coincidence, but it's worth a try.

well,understand,it's not a problem-can play in steam.just was interesting :D

Let it sit for a few minutes and try again. It should check it in the background and upon refresh the game should appear. It happened to me as well.

Thank you for the heads up--I got it. However, in your OP, your link is WRONG.
You have a link to: "refresh your GOG account"--linking to www.gog.com/account/refresh is WRONG.
Clicking that link is NOT enough.
Your other link at the top (before your essay) to "GOG Connect": www.gog.com/refresh is CORRECT.
I did have to click the REFRESH button, not simply clicking on that first link above{account/refresh.)

They are two different things. If GOG Connect can't find some of your games, you should wait two hours and press the Refresh button on the Connect page (gog.com/connect). This is clearly written on the Connect page itself and the Refresh button there is related only to GOG Connect. Sometimes, however, your specific GOG account might have another underlying issue that's not limited just to Connect (for example you have missing games from your library page: gog.com/account). The account refresh link should be used to fix those cases. The "essay" is there for a reason.

I was just trying to clarify, if you think it that it is written correctly--ok.
I clicked on www.gog.com/account/refresh, and it did not work.
I clicked on www.gog.com/refresh + refresh button and it did work.
Either way, I saw NO links whatsoever on the main GOG.com page--so think you for giving me/(us) some direction on how to get this done.

Maybe they wont giveaway anymore games now that the activity feed etc is finished.

Anyone else getting the following message on the GOG Connect pages despite having their Steam profile set to public?
Your Steam profile shows that there are no games in your library. This most likely means that your Steam account is set to Private. Please make your profile Public, then return to this page and click Refresh.

Anyone that tryes to connect to Gog connect, and gets this message
"Your Steam profile shows that there are no games in your library. This most likely means that your Steam account is set to Private. Please make your profile Public, then return to this page and click Refresh."
Check if your game list is public here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/me/edit/settings (under "privacy setting")
edit: But yeah, i have same problem too

My Steam stuff is public and GoG Connect can connect.
Although there are no new games which could be "connected" the process of refreshing just worked fine for me.

My FTL was added normally. Don't own the others to test.

I only have a problem with Amnesia, the others were recognized. Although after adding them I got the "could not read your profile" error message...

This is huge news:
Introducing GOG Connect
GOG Connect
Important: You can connect only one Steam account with your GOG.com library. This process is permanent – choose wisely!
Important 2: If you own some of the games and Connect doesn't recognize them, press the Refresh button and wait a while (can be a few minutes, hours or even a day). The reason for this is that GOG is using the Steam API to scan your Steam library and the API has a limit on the number of calls it can make for a given period of time. If you're still having problems, refresh your GOG account (simply clicking the link is enough; this is different that the Refresh button on the GOG Connect page!).
Important 3: In case you are still getting the message "Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience." after waiting a while and trying the account refresh link above, then it would be a good idea to contact GOG support. Many users have reported that their problem was fixed quickly after that.
I really hope more games are made available, because this could raise GOG's popularity significantly!
Edit on 29-April-2020:
Thanks to BrianFarnet: The GOG Connect Steam group is a useful way to get notified about future batches in your activity feed.
