Wishing you all the best, brothers <3

1$ = 6 Steam games from HB

1$ = one brick for damaged houses.

Think of that.

Thank you all who helped.

Shouldn't you contact Humble Bundle folks and ask then for Charity for Day 8 ? Hurry up so they can add your Charity.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

This. Not only Humble, but also Groupees, IndieGameStand, whoever has a charity part to their bundles.

I would also suggest that you try to contact game developers from these countries (example) and try to arrange a charity bundle, either directly by the devs or through another bundle site (my guess is that Groupees will be the easiest).

It's not that gamers are cheap, it's just that we need a little incentive to give. :)

Yes, I am already in contact with them (Humble) , but they told me to wait...
Groupees, IndieGameStand... no answer. :(

Just got some new information for those who wish to help with goods and don't know how.
Your boxes with humanitarian aid for people affected with floods label with "Help for flood victims" and its enough just to send then for Serbia with no direct address or referred recipient, and customs officers will open them and send then directly to help center.
I don't know will this work for Bosnia and Herzegovina and/or Croatia.
Thank you all.

Please share this information if you may on other sites and forums.

Can anyone explain me or link me to some good info about this HARP thingy?

It's HAARP actually. It's a ionospheric program funded by DARPA and US Air Force. Part of HAARP is huge field of antenna arays located in Alaska and conspiracy theorist like to think it's actually a tectonic weapon. They usually blame it for all natural disasters.

Thanks for explanation.
Well I don't know what to think about it, but I can see why people blame them.

Also last year a satirical web portal (something like Onion in USA) published a fake story about malfunction of HAARP and how it targeted USA with natural disasters instead of Serbia (that was around the time when USA suffered that harsh cold weather and whatnot). Few other news portals in Serbia reposted that as something credible without checking on the source and the whole thing was pretty embarassing. So it could be that L3Gi0NaR is perhaps referencing that

As a fan of the CS:GO pro scene it makes me happy that they wish to help my country and raise some awareness as well. Many thanks to Pita for organizing this.

Pro players in charity tournament (CS:GO)

"Charity tournament featuring many of the best players in the world will be held in the near future with the aim of collecting donations for flood victims in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia.
In an attempt to help, Bosnia's most famous Counter-Strike player Faruk "pita" Pita will organize a charity tournament with some of the world's best players in hopes of collecting donations for the affected regions.
It is also in the plans that one big gaming company will help by handing out some products for the donators. More information about how the donation process will work, which charity organizations are selected and when the tournament will take place will be announced later this week."

I've donated some money to their official floodrelief paypal. Not too much because I don't have a lot to give... But still, it's something, and might buy them some food for a day. :/
Best wishes.

You know it very good that only 2010 you could compare with OP topic. All of others was just local floods. I can't even imagine how you could compare it. There is not even a slight common sense in it.

(sry OP, i know topic is not for this discussion, let it just be free bump:)

CS:GO GO4Balkan charity tournament goes live in about 30 minutes. Just watching the stream with your AdBlock off will help. Additional information about the tournament, players, teams and rewards for those who donate can be found at hltv.org/go4charity.
