Hello. I had a 4 level (4.01), has now become 3 (3.98)? What happened? It's some bug?

No, if you wont keep it up with GA's then your level will go down after a while

Nope. I havent given away anything for a long time and after a long while my level went down from 5 to 4.6. Nothing that I gave away was bundled "after" (aka it was a bundle game but it wasnt marked on SG as bundled yet)

So yeah, it goes down if you dont keep feeding GA's

Don't forget if a game decreases in price your CV will decrease.

Ah well then its probably that. A bunch of games went down in price on Steam so the level went down

Keep feeding the machine

Actually you are completely wrong.
Check the dates for when the games got bundled, it doesn't matter if it was added later, as long as it was in a bundle when you created the giveaway you will eventually lose that cv

How about reading what people wrote above instead repeating smth ? (that doesnt even concern me)

Not exactly. But the CV awarded for giveaways will drop if the base price of a game drops. So if somebody gave away 10 Fallout 4 copies that is worth 600 CV now, in a year it will be worth 200 when it drops to 20 USD base price.

Did you win anything lately? I think there's a ratio of gift wins to gifts sent that factors into what level you are.

Are you serious?

Well, I'm relatively newish to the site, I don't contribute to discussions much and I've seen my contributor level fluctuate based on what I've won compared to what I've given away, so I guess I just assumed.

You didn't read the correct information on the site, so you imagined that correlation.

No, sadly win/sent ratio has nothing to do with levels. Levels only use one parameter, the sent value, nothing more.

Give more, complain less!

Basically, something you gave away lost value and that affects your level...

System tries to determine, how cool are you!If you are above average then you will passively gain CV,if not, you will passively loose CV.
Hope that helps :)

Value of the games given away is not fix.
As Klinge suggested, when you find something apparently not working on a site, search it before asking, very probably happened to someone else before and already asked it.

That is, that level is not increased, it is necessary to constantly handing out gifts. I correctament understand?

Your contributor value, and thus your level is based on the prices of the US steam store. Prices change, because the publisher decreases the price for a game, so people buy it :> (makes sense ,right?) So you will also lose value when that happens.

There is no such thing as a constant decrease in contributor value, you may just assume there is one, because games get cheaper over time :>

Edit: Oh and jeah Lucius has 0 value, I guess due to some bug, so that should be the cause in your case.

I think the games' price those you make GAs is decreased, or they're made into bundle, or set free cost for some reasons, so your CV value goes down a little bit!
