I was going to recommend you "The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth", now its DLC release date was announced (October 31st), but it looks like you played the first game for a while and didn't like it :(

I don't know what recommend for you, but I see in your games Shadowrun, and advise you to pay attention to Satellite Reign. If you like a Life is Strange? maybe inytresting a Dreamfall and Dreamfall Chapters. And if Night a Rabbit good game for you, you must try other point and click quest developmend by Daedalic.

Adventures, mostly preferrably more "mature" ones... I enjoy rpgs with isometric view (generally isometric view has stolen my heart), but I'm in need for short games right now. But you can recommend anything really, usually a lot of time passes between me getting interest in game and actually buying it or playing it.

well I 'm sure you heard of the witcher series. And nothign comes to mind about Isometric games atm.
Don't have any particularly "quick to beat" (in hour number) games outside of shmups (Crimzon Clover, etc)
As far as stop and go games, well things like Hero Siege has a way for you to resume where you left off without much fuss.
But my general recs atm are (it'd take me much longer to make a full list)
Abyssal City: Vandalis story (somethign like that, metrovania with more fighting mechanics)
Broforce
Bit Dungeon II
Crimzon CLover (if you like such games)
Fine Sweeper (it's like Minesweeper but with more mechanics like lives)

Eschalon is an isometric RPG that is quite short (For an RPG), at ~10h. As for adventure games, the Myst series has "potential" to be short (first one really was short for me, I finished it in an evening without a guide, the later ones were longer).
Ittle Dew is a 2-3h game on your first run. Lone Survivor can be beaten in less than 3h
