Same! I was just throwing a reminder out there in case some people forget. idk if you'd be able to sell them in time at this point. I think your best bet is to:

  1. break them down into gems
    or
  2. if you're close to finishing a set, buy that last 2-3 cards you need off market and craft a badge.

Or sell them one cent below the minimum to make sure they get sold instantly (^w^)

Thanks for the reminder though!

yeah, you're best just to hold onto it for a future release like DOOM, idk what you're into, but I think it's best just to save it up for a game you're going to want in the next couple of months.

Badge full sets and sell rest fast. If 50 cards don't offer a full set see minimum number of cards you need buy to finish a set or 2 and sell rest. or just make your life easy and sell all. With 3 day trade crap trading is risky.

well, steam is in washington state, so they operate by PST (Pacific Standard Time), so it's currently 8:51 AM there right now.

Indeed, so if the cards are in Valve time, that means they should have a few hours left. You mentioned EST which is 3 hours ahead of PST so they should be fine until 3 PM EST. Typically that is how they have been in the past too. One hour after the sale ends to accommodate those that did the qualifications for cards at the last second of the sale.

Edit: The one I kept to test seems to still be happily in my inventory albeit a little lonely.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah that's utter stupid and retarded. steam wallet funds are virtual money used to buy virtual goods. sell virtual goods in a virtual market will not make you rich in the real world. That's one of the scamming practices Valve still has.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, seeing how people sold TF2's Golden Frying Pan for real $5000, I'd say this is Valve just not being able to become banks due to different laws in every country...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

by having a limit of 500 dollars wallet fund or 400dollars maximum price of individual items sold then it is their fault that people try to sell items for real money. they should have made it limitless, people would still want to keep some funds in their steam wallet. which money goes to valve herself

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, there are sites like opskins that allows you to safely sell your (mostly CSGO) items (including but not limited to keys that you buy in-game for $2.5) for paypal.
Lots of people, especially gamblers want to cash-out their Steam Wallets for real money, not only people with crazy ass weapons.

Knowing Valve, they delete cards by their IDs, starting from oldest (lower IDs) to youngest (highest IDs). So first cards started disappearing those 2 hours ago and slowly everything is going away.

Maybe on the market, but those inventories are still there. I just finished crafting a badge due to a couple of friends sending me trade offers with cards in them. Managed to cobble together an extra set with some additional trading and still have 1 left over.

Might depend on your time zone or something. Mine say expired in the market and they weren't returned to my inventory either.

Now I can't trade the one I have left but it is still there and still appears like I could craft it if 10 more cards poofed in to my inventory. Seen someone wanted it, tried to give it but it would not show up in my trade window.
