Surely the download size is the system requirements size?

It unpacks and installs after downloading, so download size is smaller than size on disk

This is almost never the case with steam. All that installs is the pre-requisites/runtimes required to run the game.

Mostly same game, but more stuff like races and arenas. So it might be 1 or 2GB more I think...

Sacred 2 Gold shows 14Gb of disk usage rite now..can't say how much it downloaded...

Last I installed, I recall it saying about 12Gb. 12.6 maybe? Something like that.

Upon thinking about this for a moment I realize this is the download size of the standard version and not Gold. So Gold is likely more.

Lol, I have Steven as a friend, and he buys all of his games.

You're ignoring the fact that some people have monthly download limits with their net providers. I have a couple friends who, until just recently, were capped at about 60-80Gb per month. While that doesn't exactly sound awful, when you consider a few guys sharing an internet connection and all of them actively use Steam, it sucks. And to be charged out the ass for going over is pretty bad, too. They finally put forth the extra cash for unlimited, but not everyone can afford to do this. And some may not be in charge of the household, thus no say over increasing/removing the limit.

that ^ (and I have 1000 games, imagine if i had no limit.. it would be crazy :S.. but I allways lived with that so...)

edit; I can't have unlimite with my company, that sucks ....

What is your problem? I'm not a fuckin pirate.... If you see, I have over 1000 games on steam, so, I think that I buy my games, no? (by trading but anyway... ) ...

And I only ask that because I have a download limit each month.

Finally, it's pretty idiot to say that a person (that you don't know personaly) is a pirate. Next time, think about that --'
