Want to play DayZ?

There is a decent sale at GamesRocket for $11.95 / £8.95 / €11.49 for those of you who can't wait for the Steam summer sale to even see if it gets reduced. This does not activate on Steam. It's also not the lowest the game has ever been (was $10 on Steam back in January), but for two bucks more you can have it today for $8 less than it is on Steam currently.

DayZ requires both ARMA 2 (full or free) and Operation Arrowhead. You can also buy the Combined Operations bundle that includes both games.
You should be able to purchase this and use ARMA 2 Free (if you do not already own ARMA 2) to play DayZ. Source

I've heard that Six Updater makes installing DayZ much easier.

It was a tremendous help with DayZ! But my friends and I had soooo many more issues with Arma2 launching correctly through Steam.
