If you visit the main SCE page there isn't any "recent event" for Quakecon 2024, but they actually continue to add them to the 2021 event:

99% sure, it is still the same app ID so SCE hasn't updated the title.

oh well to be honest makes zero difference to me as I don't even both with the ones that make you watch Twitch or whatever and I don't like Doom or Quake - so will most likely pass this event

Nice catch! Got to remember to show up for this, hope there’s no issues like there was a year or two ago. Looks like they removed the new ones from the shop already. Also the Quakecon Quby and Quakecon Reverb avatars seem to be new as well. That’s potentially nine drops this year.

To be honest I don't think so... since the window of missable hours is too short for making drops per day.
- Aug 08 20:00 UTC ~ 22:00 (+ several min)
- Aug 09 20:00 UTC ~ 23:00 (+ several min)
- Aug 10 20:00 UTC ~ 23:00 (+ several min)
So mostly 2-3 hours per day to watch to get rewards, assuming if it's going to like previous years, 10+ min required to watch on Steam to get those rewards.
But... the usual delay caused by too many people watching... expect it'll take at least 10 min (for early people)-2 days for people to receive their actual rewards.

It was obvious they would do some stuff for Doom, but I’m surprised there’s stuff for Fallout 76 and ESO but nothing for Indy even though that’s supposed to be out this year.
