This is absolutely the level of jigidi I need for this hour in the morning. Thanks!

My brother and I as kids started adding a squeeze of fresh orange to hot chocolate, with a good bit of cinnamon. Mmm.

I like Mexican hot chocolate. It comes in a bar, you break off a piece and melt it in a mug with milk. It's got spices already mixed in the chocolate. Nutmeg and cinnamon I think?

Oh, we call that submarino in my country (Argentina). I guess because the chocolate bar goes into the milk like a submarine going underwater. Didn't know it was originally from Mexico.

I'm not sure if it is, but the one brand I've seen is from Mexico and is called that.

Well to be fair we add the cinnamon afterwards rather than being included in the chocolate so maybe it's a different thing.

I've seen that brand, but I haven't tried it yet. Is that your favorite?

Yes it has a soft flavor and you also dissolve it in hot milk, although it doesn't have cinnamon in it, do you remember the name of the one you like by any chance? it sounds good with the nutmeg

It's been a while since I bought it, so I don't remember, sorry. You could always add ground nutmeg to the Abuelita one though.

When I've heard of Mexican hot chocolate, it's just hot chocolate with cinnamon and other spices. The bar thing sounds super convenient.
