Did you have a game you used to play in your childhood?
Hm. Crystal Caves. Tunneler. Scorched Earth. Grand Prix Circuit. Those Summer/Winter Games. Goblins. Doom of course :o)
e - Ski or die. Sokoban. Covert Action. -Oh man, would totally forget Prince of Persia and Golden Axe.
I THINK the first game I ever launched was Scorched Earth. We got our 386 from a friend of father's so it had a plenty of games already on it.
I also watched my father play a lot, he was much better at Prince of Persia and Doom than me.

I guess it was things like Grim Fandango, Broken Sword 1, Age of Empires 1, Need for Speed 3, Commandos. I bought Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle during summer sales because of nostalgic reasons.
Yes and also Sokoban on my first 286 computer.

When I was really young, the first ever game that I played was Super Mario World on SNES. We had some other games on it, but I pretty much played just SMW. A few years later I was introduced to PC gaming with The Sims. We didn't even have internet access yet, we got it about a year later after Sims.

E.V. Nova was great. Metal Slug was also great fun in arcades. Sonic was a huge part of my childhood (yes, I do die inside when they announce another game, but Generations was good so at least I got some good nostalgia out of it) and Deus Ex (the first one) was when my gaming tastes matured. I'm sure there are more, but for starters, there's those.

I played a lot of games as a child but my favorite where always Final Fantasy series and i have spent lots and lots of hours in them.
I have finished 4,5,6,Tactics,7,8,9,10 and played 1,X-2,12,Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII,Dissidia.
I also like a lot Kingdom Hearts 1&2 because they have FF characters in them.

Pokemon Sapphire/ Emerald and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team / Explorers of Sky. Played those games so much, and replayed the stories probably a half dozen or more times from beginning to end. Loved those games so much.

So I was talking to my brothers yesterday, and we got on the subject of technology. We started to talk about games, and we talked about a game I have not seen in years... MDK! for those of you who don't know this game, it is probably one of the best 3rd person shooters, and a great classic! I remember playing this game when I was 3 or 4, and now I am 18 reliving my childhood! The game is on steam, but you have to get some stupid texture pack in order for it to work. gog.com has it working right off the bat and its $6 instead of $10. Basically, I want to ask you guys, what was your childhood game(s) or games you played that introduced you to the video game realm? Mine were MDK, nanosaur, and E.V Nova.
