I think it's pretty nice of them; of course, it's not all because they have a big heart and all that. It's good marketing for them as well, as people spread the word that there's a giveaway for that game. Some people possibly haven't heard about the game and then look into what the game is, and as a result, they buy the game if they don't(or in some cases, if they do) win.

I'll be in bed though when the giveaway starts, so I'm not sure I'll be able to enter in time...

sorry to hear you won bad rats. i don't expect to win dwarfs but will enter to support developer giveaways. who knows, maybe if they get 5000 or so entries they'll decide to add more keys to the giveaway :)

The giveaway keeps popping up with the Steamgifts enhancement tool (auto-loading). Same issue we had when they introduced contributor giveaways.

Developers like this are awesome! Depending on the duration of the giveaway and the resulting number of entries the chances of winning will most likely be between 0.5 and 0.1. Excellent odds for a public giveaway :)
