Which giveaway was it? You could always trade for it or buy it from steam and activate it to your account.

You could buy the game youself and activate it on Steam so it will not show up as unactivated anymore.

You have a few options:
1) Buy the game and activate it
2) Mark it as not received
3) Mark it as not received and ask the creator of the giveaway to give you an appropriate key -> then back to received
4) Suspension and blacklisting I guess

I believe the giveaway creator can ask the support people to change the giveaway to the game he actually gave you, assuming you both agree to it. You probably need to write a comment on the giveaway saying you are ok with the request. :) Sorry I don't have any details, just remember reading it in the forum somewhere... :) Good luck... :)

If it's a cheap game I should trade for it to activate in my account, because you can't have unredeemed games on your account without getting a suspension here unless you're a developer

What fiftykyu said is the best solution. In either case you want to contact support ASAP, otherwise you risk being flagged for breaking the rules since you cannot mark as not received until 7 days have passed.

Please unmark the giveaway unless the creator has given you a copy of the game you can activate - you can click the "Received" radio button again to do so. Along with the other suggested options above, you can ask the creator to have the giveaway deleted.

Opps i think i made a mistake today. I thought it was okay but i think this is agaisnt rules and i see it after reading one of the last topics and then checking with sgtools. I won two region restiricted giveaways from a guy and i was just spending points didn't think i could win. One of them was without problem but other one's key didn't work so i contacted him and he said i have other keys so i thought it won't be a problem and he is making up for his mistake. I accepted another game (around same value) then marked as recieved. I didn't know that will be a unactived giveaway :( Should i do something about it? I feel bad about it now.
