ehh DOTA2 is just like that crappy Immortals game we had to do achievments in during Winter sale.... Crappy.
Comment has been collapsed.
Don't sure if trolling. Immortals...another fail Action RTS game. Dota 2 is a successor to the original Defence of the Ancients, the most popular gamemode in Warcraft 3 of all time, which is now an independent game. And yes, Dota 2 store system already kicked out League of Legends.

you said team fortress 2 but there's so much item tradings with real life money?

Then just ignore that fact and play the freaking game :P

Personally I've got a single character - level 63, and I've yet to spend any money.
I only play for the main story quests, I don't enjoy MMO's for the mob killing, however I never found a dull spot in training up to here yet, Although admittedly I was lucky to find Angmar on sale - quest packs can go up to 50% off during events, though probably not for a while since introduction to steam.
I did Erid Luin (Elf starter) -> Bree -> Barrow Downs/Old Forest -> Lone Lands -> Main story into Trollshaws -> Angmar -> Main story through Moria. So without money or turbine point you can make it to about 40-45 before running out of free content, ignoring the fact that there are raids/instances.
Otherwise, Alien Swarm

As someone who used to play it back in the day, I don't recommend treating LotRO as an F2P game. The F2P part is more like a demo for the "real" game, and you will be missing a LOT unless you spend a good amount of money on the game. And sureyou can grind points to unlock content, but by the time you've done enough grinding to unlock everything you'll need to play the entire game you'll be so sick and tired of the game you won't even touch the content you've unlocked. Unless you happen to fucking love grinding I guess, in which case there are probably better games for you anyway.
It's a pretty ok MMO and especially if you're a fan of the LotR universe and don't mind that the game isn't very original in any way, it's certainly good for a load of fun. Just don't expect the game to be really F2P.

LotR Online is very good, especially if you're a LotR fan like I am. I play it almost all day long.

It is, you can get to 75 free to play (Its just a lot harder) You can get to about.. 35 without spending anything, And by the time you've got to that level, you can unlock a quest pack called "Trollshaws" Which gives you quests all the way up to level 50. And with their offers, I myself, got the Fellowship Quest Pack (Keeps you going to 50-60) Mines of Moria (Keeps you going from 50-60 as well, and good weapons) And Mirkwood (60-70) And Lorien (70-75) And the Rise Of Isengard (75 end-game content) All for £15.. oh and £20 worth of points to buy extra bags and such.

I haven't spent a cent and I bought the Evendim quest pack, an extra character slot, the Warden and Rune-keeper class pack and the 4th inventory bag, all in the last few weeks. I'm gonna have the 5th inventory bag within the next few days.

Moba style - Super MNC
Action mmo - APB, Realm of the Mad God, Global Agenda
Fantasy mmo - Lord of the Rings, DC Universe
There is a huge variety of games so it depends on the style you like. They are f2p like you said so download it, if you don't like it, go to the next one!

Realm Of The Mad God is not a game I would describe as an action MMO. It's more of a "pixel bullet hell that happens to be online"

Its fun, yeah. Until you lose all of your God-tier items about 10 times, but its fun.

Shawn: THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S CALLED!
I'm assuming you were making a Mega64 reference?

Guys i want a game i can play completely FREE. A game i wont be need to pay.
Comment has been collapsed.
Every game in the F2P section has a pay component. All of them. ALL OF THEM. That's almost a requirement for being in that section, brightly emblazoned with "IT'S FREE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR"--the subtext "...but if you wanna just hand me your wallet, bud, you'll have an easier time of it than those other cheap chumps." If you want a 100% free, not-even-the-possibility-or-temptation-to-pay-in game, on STEAM, then you're going to want to search for "D.I.P.R.I.P. Warm Up" and get some friends to do the same.

I didn't say "need pay". I said "Has a pay component". For Realm of the Mad God specifically, I direct you to the "Buy Realm Gold" option. Now, I say again, ALL OF THEM.

ALL OF... of... hurk. Yarg. Grr. Nope, I definitely stand corrected.

So it seems to me you are angry about this and I don't get why, the microtransaction model boosts population and is necesarry for f2p games to survive and the ones that do it well don't force anything on you and don't give unfair advantages for those who pay...so what's the big deal anyway?
Comment has been collapsed.
While Super Monday Night Combat has a cash shop, all the items you can buy with real cash are cosmetic with no effect on gameplay. Also the game is really fun once you get past the steep learning curve.

Guys how about DC Universe? Is it a Pay2Win? Am i get bored cause of playing alone?
