Yeah, I thought that was weird. I'm not usually interested in anime, but once every few years or so I find one I like, and I just don't really think about the other 98% of the genre.

I generally don't like anime, due to most shows reusing typical character and visuals. On the other hand Miyazaki's movies are one of the best animated films out there, to my mind.

It might not have been in control for those 7 years but if it was there and it inherited the memories it's not new to gaming, watching someone play is part of the gamer experience as far as I'm concerned.

That configuration seems sub optimal at first glance, but now that I think about it a multi boot OS installation in separate partitions works exactly that way so it kinda makes sense.

Of course they are one and the same. They/we are also all fans of trading card games, board games, tabletop rpgs, pewpew die, star wars, mountain dew and rhumba.
Also we're all male and mysognists.
The only thing gamers like different then each other is platform. For each theres one and only one who is better above any other platform.
Also we love microtransactions and hate mobile.
Maybe one of the above is wrong.
If you don't fall on any of the above then im sorry you game but are no gamer.
Also theres a division between casual and hardcore gamer.
Basically if you live with your parents and in the basement you're hardcore, otherwise you're casual.

Thats like asking if all gamers like romantic comedies or thrillers. Some do and some don't. I personally do like anime of most kinds (yes you can get comedy, sci-fi genres of anime) but I tend not to like slice of life or anything fan service-y. (I'm looking at you Highschool whatever it is called)

High school of the dead wasn't that bad. It may only exist to show of blood and tits, but the scene where he shoots a sniper over that chicks boobs; I've never laughed harder at an anime.

well since the 80's we get more anime on tv then more kids wath anime then now have a lot of people saying the like anime even if they dont watch anime anymore.
in the end its about what you like and what not then i think you should care more about what you like and if someone like videogames and not anime its ok, if someone like anime and no videogames its ok, it someone like both or nither its also ok then in the end enjoy what you like and let the people enjoy what they like ^_^
