Both client and website. Its usually 1 or the other, but both are down.

Valve is cutting corners on servers. They should have "Google server uptime quality", since valve is monopoly in digital distribution

Routine maintenance is pretty absurd.

2.9 million people on, significantly less than the peak hours?

6 million people on a Friday night?

This is really convincing me in buying a Steambox or whatever they call it.

Too many free weekends stacked on top of each other. Valve needs to limit the free weekends to one game per weekend. (Call of Duty Ghosts will clog servers. It doesn't help with the game "Minimum" having beta access this weekend.

Wonder what their excuse will be for these latest periods of downtime? DDOS? Maintenance? Good old fashioned incompetence?

I can't even log into my Steam client right now, I can't view the market or badges either, I just keep getting redirected back to my profile or given a blank page... >_<

WTF is going on with Steam?
