That would be pretty nice. Not that Oblivion works well enough on my PC (no clue why, both Fallout games work flawlessly). I played the 360 version, and got by never going past level 8 in the main quest since leveling was boring.

This one seems to be pretty good: clicky

Or XP based levelling

Or look around in this thread since it has quite a few levelling mods in it.

I'm not sure how much these are like the skyrim system, but they are at least better then the default system available in oblivion.

Oblivion's levelling system was a bit weird to get my head around at first, but there was nothing wrong with it after that. Skyrim's was fucking awful, though. Why on earth would you want that kind of shite in Oblivion?

Erm.. the only real difference was you had to sleep to level in Oblivion.. Do not see why the hate towards Skyrim's system if you love Oblivion's system.

As for the OP, wish I could help you but I never owned the PC version. Had it on console for a while ( it was stolen sadly :( ) and I also played it on a friends comp before. ( a long time back ) I am sure there is a mod for it. Might not be too hard to find a way to do that one yourself even.
