It seemed to me that the game got a really nice single-player component as well, so if you like single-player, it might still be worth it.

The main attraction of the game is it's single player, but if you're looking for the multiplayer in particular, last time I tried it(which was a while ago) there still were people playing it. Although for a 2vs2 match you'd probably need to find opponents yourself. And if there aren't many people playing it, I'm sure you could find a friend to play with since a lot of people own it. ;)

There're still people playing it online, the bad thing is most of the players have all characters and artifacts unlocked and are lv+200 (I'm lv 10, lol). Try playing the whole single-player campaing before going online.

I played online awhile back and a few people were playing it seems. It's one of my favorite games, so if you ever want someone to play against you can always add me, if you get it
