Looks like this circumvents the VAC ban trading restriction Steam introduced not that long ago. Now people can just trade codes/keys instead of steam gifts.

Just great . . . Definitely not what we needed, hope Valve takes actions against all scummy cheaters soon enough, else the core gamers are leaving soon, if they didn't already.
But all they care about is their little baby Dota2.

No, I spoke to people from RU/CIS why they continue doing this shit instead of just sraight up scam people.
But they boost private rank for you until you are elegible for "Prime" which requires phone nr, but they will either already have a nr attached so the chance is very likely you will get VAC sooner or later, also because the boosters are are open for using cheats aswell ;)
The guy I spoke to bought 15 sim cards a week, as soon he sells an acc he buys a new SIM.
If the acc are not yet binded with a number it will give more profit ofc.
I don't know much about VK, but there where it happens.
So you use hourbooster on the acc which makes you played other games for legitness, SAM for achivements so it looks "cool" and you have a high rank in CS..
Who could ever think you cheat? ;)

Its actually very easy. And these websites are quite common as well. Plenty of these around, and they aren't exactly unknown either.
Besides, if someone buys a high level account, they will either have to play or lose rank. If they play, they lose their rank anyway because they will be outclassed and are gonna have their teammates at their back. Seems like a waste of money to buy high ranked accounts. Unless of course you just love to cheat, and that's all you are there for, which sadly does happen quite often.

Yes, it's Valve. HRK almost certainly didn't get their keys directly from Valve but that's were they originated from.
