And I have 15 TF2 keys, all from selling cards.But hey, WHAT IS THE POINT RIGHT ?!

Basically, you get three benefits for the cards.

1. Money (if you sell them).
2. Collection (if you're a collector).
3. Steam profile levels, which can give stuff like extra friend list slots.

I don't get this profit aspect, in beta maybe, but now? If one card is like 0.10 with lets say 3 free drops per game, how can this be profitable unless you're controlling the market with bots?
