Hello! Since my previous guessing game brought a decent response, I decided to make another one. I'm not saying I'm going to make it into a regular thing, I just have a little more games to give.

Funny thing with #6 is I only got it because I recognized the hairstyle. Never had the chance to play that game sadly.

Q4 gave me the hardest time.

Sorting all the shovelware and visual novels out of your 'recently played' list gave me some good hints, though.

It is true that the 2nd screenshot doesn't help too much, still solveable if you know the game.
For me, looking at the crosshair really helped

Damn, Q3 and Q5 are hard.
Since this is my first "Guess the Game", I wanted to ask how does one go about if he doesn't know a game, and there don't seem to be any clues
for him (me in this case :P ) to follow and solve the puzzle. Thanks in advance, and of course no spoilers.

Well in general using reverse image search is a good thing to try, and also look at googles results for "visually similar images". Sometimes doing a new image search for the thumbnail displayed in the search results can work as well - smaller images will give less accurate search results which can match a wider range of similar images.

And then of course you can look for clues. Right click and open the image in a new tab to see it in original resolution look for any details you might recognize from a game series or location or time period... then you can google things like "Games set in xxxx" and usually get wikipedia lists of games to look through... narrow down by how old the game looks or what genre it seems to be or whatever and you have some things to try!
