Trendy Entertainment is also working on Dungeon Defenders 2, so less of their attention is on the original DD at the moment. DD2 is actually in closed beta right now.

Tried the beta on the first day and it was 100% awfully unplayable. I've not even bothered to go back since, hopefully it's better though.

Haha, I'm not too interested with the MOBA aspect much. I always saw DD as more of a co-op game, so I'll probably base the game off that once they release more details on the co-op aspect.

Probably because it was in a bundle, so there is little CV value for it in comparison to something else equally priced. Not everyone cares about CV, but enough do to reduce the number of giveaways available evidently!
