So new hint.. I had already tried some first-last-2nd-2ndlast-3rd spirals to no luck. I was thinking for the clue 1 of 8, there's 8 letters in your name, only one of which is also in the line. But there's also 8 numbers, 8 lowercase letters.... am I at all on the right track with either approach?

The lowercase letters are more than 8... I'm driving crazy with this puzzle :D

hmm, I see f s e p v d l n - for 8... the one betwen SE and 3Y is an uppercase i if you copy and paste into a font with different lowercase L and uppercase i

Well blow me down. Time to go retry some of those middle ones, thanks :)

I'm still in deep water. I have no idea of what to do or where to start, even with the new hints. Do we need to get a 5-digit code from your code? Do we need to get a code for another website?

Bump for solved!
Ginger didn't bring enlightenment but I somehow found my way 🤪

my brain is on drugs or something because one of the eight union territories in india, ladakh is the first buddhist state there and commonly ginger is used to combat the altitude sickness and clear the mind.
(I have no idea how to connect this to clue 1)
(hope youre enjoying seeing me run around on a wild goose chase nuszi555)

This was meant to be a simple puzzle, solvable without any knowledge of cryptography and such. It's needs some out-of-the-box thinking though, and I've tried to give hints about not overthinking.
The string contains 35 characters, which could be reorganized into a rectangle of 57 or 75 characters. The gifts ID's have 5 characters, so it's handy to go with the latter. And actually this is what I did, wrote the IDs below each other and read back the result in a specific order.
The initial sentence and many of the hints or answers were plays on the C and S sounds, hissing like a snake. The dance video is performed by Naga Vardhini, where "naga" means "serpent deity" or literally "snake" (or more specifically cobra), and her other video made on the same occasion is called "Snake Dance".
So the characters were meant to be reorganized in a "snake" pattern to recreate the rectangle. People tend to imagine snakes in two shapes, either in spiral or with many S-like turns in series.
I've tried to give hints about ignoring the spiral, without many success - seems like the "negatory" parts of the sentences are too easy to miss (my bad, will keep this in my head for the future puzzles).
Next, there are 4 corners to start placing the characters, and from each corner the pattern could be continued in two directions (from TL to the right, from TL to down, etc...), giving a total of 8 combinations, of which one is the solution.
The first character shall be placed in the bottom left corner, then following 6 all the way up above it, the next one to one step right, the following 6 all the way down, the next one to one step right, and so on... until you get 7 rows of 5-character IDs.

To the people that solved this: you are geniuses, all of you. I now myself out.

If this is considered a simple puzzle I don't even want to see what you consider difficult :D
okay I get that silence should get you to a snake and I get the circle, 8 and the dance hint but I still don't understand the ginger hint in all of this

I think that it is all but not simple.
I must say i am happy that i hadn't the time to try to solve it because i know i would had no success (and as result a bad mood).
35 characters get reorganized to 57 or 75 is the first think that kick me complete out. Problems to understand this.
The "snake" hint part was, somehow maybe, solveable.
The snake moving maybe solveable from guessing if you know on/for what you look.
Starting in the corners, 2 directions possible, 8 combinations = complicate.
So i have massive problems to understand how you could think that this stuff is SIMPLE for someone that don't know the solution (you know the solution when you create a puzzle).

Those who seek silence, might find enlightenment.
HINT 1: In the sky streams a whisper: simply going in circles will not take you closer.
HINT 2: Out of the eight, only one is your friend.
HINT 3: Don't let your thoughts spiral away, if you feel tired, go see some nice dance
HINT 4: If still lost, nibble some ginger to boost your thinking.
