F.3.A.R. is so underrated ! Why ?

I also miss the old whatisfear.com...

The first one was well received, the other ones were just meh.

Won F3EAR during the Christmas giveaway and I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was (theme aside). Knowing what I know now I would have gladly bought it, but was blinded by a lot of misinformation. (There are people who would rather starve than eat top sirlion that's a little too salty).

Some ppl don't like it because it's more of fps than horror.

I've enjoyed what of the SP that I've played. I got it off gamestop or somewhere similar, can't remember, for $5, and was hoping the MP was active. But it's not :(

the first Fear is an horror FPS while Fear 3 is more action oriented. that change of "pace" led to a almost generic game. In my opinion they lost the atmosphere of the first game

Noone plays F3ar? Geez, now why is that?

I made a review back a while about this game and i like to dig out a few lines about it.

• Horror, the part that Fear was always facing at, is completly missing in part 3! I rather wanted to hug Alma than kill her! (Okay, wanted to do so since part one ^^)

• The enemydesign in f3ar is just totally boring. Soldiers all the time, the only "worthy" enemies in tradition to the series are those dogs, everything else is just standard shooterish.

• Difficulty sucks. No, it´s not too hard, it´s just freaking easy!

• Even for shooter standards this game is overall pretty average and below!

• Graphics too bad for the time

• Coversystem just cosmetics and not needed

So underrated? I don´t think so. I gave it 63% and think that was fair.

But, not to forget it: If YOU have fun with it, play it! A 100 tests can say a game sucks, if YOU like it, those 100 tests are worth nothing to you!
