I was terrified of that "drowning" sound from Sonic. My poor little self had to get one of my older brothers to get me past some parts underwater lol.

Half-Life 2 with Ravenholm.
GTA: Vice City' Scarface easter egg apartment (thought that at any moment I'd be killed while in there)

Can't remember any more currently.

Myst, especially the people in the books, freaked me out (It didn't help that I was a dumb kid who could barely figure out any of the puzzles in Myst anyway). Also, I had a Dragonheart game for the PC that included a maze portion, which, for some reason, always made me nervous.

I see I'm not the only one with my choice already! The Neverhood had it all - the feeling of loneliness, the creepy, windy ambiance and the knowledge that you're ultimately facing off against a hellishly ugly villain (lol). I must have been in my late kindergarten years when I watched my dad beat it :')

As for something I played myself... I suppose Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets? ...I hate spiders... ;w;

Glover on N64. I dont remember anything about the game except the music and world made me feel creeped out and isolated. The game felt lonely but I still loved it

The ghosts in sims 1, which was weird because at the time I played a ton of Icewind Dale so I don't really know why it scared me

Death scenes in Dangerous Dave 2 were scary.
Also, I remember Monster Bash had really creepy intro that I tried to skip as fast as possible.

I avoided scary games when I was a kid. The only ones that I could remember are Mystery Case Files games but they're already semi-scary. Why are most HOG scary-ish anyway?

Oh, those noisy dog-like creatures too on Half-Life. Idk why.

I was terrified of the third boss in Spyro: Year of the Dragon. Something about its appearance really creeped me out. Then I got older, went back to it, and kicked its rear end. =3 Definitely not scary now, and I'm still not sure why it got me as a kid.

The other one I remember vividly was from Xenogears. One of the characters becomes a robotic monstrosity near the end of the game. The way it appeared and its unnerving movements on screen made me shut the game off, flip on the lights, and stay under my covers. I did beat it the next day (or close to) but it was with those lights remaining on. XD It's not scary to me anymore either, but it still looks creepy.
