My hdmi cable is 10 foot long and doesn't connect to my graphics card at all since it requires mini hdmi. Plus it can't reach my T.V. Now I have to get a 15 footer to connect to my T.V. with an HDMi to mini HDMi.

Anyways, how am I supposed to hook up and hdmi cable anyways from my PC to T.V.? Anything specific to do once I get a new one? Or is it just as easy as pluggin it in and that's it. I kind of want to get an adaptor instead, but I hear bad things about them, such as the sockets being loose and the image constantly being cut out, and so on...

Edit: And now I have to close my first topic which I accidentally entered in and made it sound like a sexual innuendo. Sorry about that.

When you connect yout pc to the tv check that your pc outputs at the correct resolution. Disable overscan on your tv and set it's input to pc levels/rgb full and set it to Game mode. Some tvs will do all those automatically, other's won't. If you plan to use your to tv for regular pc use then pick one that support 4:4:4, not all do and those that don't may have blur some fine details.
