It has been 2 years since I registered on SG, time flies!
Prepared 2 trains for you happy citizens of SG:
First train with mostly freebies, which I forgot to make Invite Only... So for what it is worth: Hop on
Second train for LVL 4+, with some nice bundled games for y'all: Choo Choo
All GAs end in about 7 days.

Fair warning: some of these, mostly the freebies, are from lootboy, which sometimes have dupes. Please let me delete these GAs if the need arises.

You can just bump or tell me in the comments what is your relationship with fruits and vegetables πŸŒπŸ‹πŸ’πŸ₯’πŸ₯‘, both would be appreciated 😁

Edit: Ended, thank you all for participating and congrats to all the winners!

Frozen fruits smoothies are the best and easy to make,
just blend frozen fruits that you could not finish with milk and it tastes great,
I have them once in a while to treat myself

Definitely!
I stay away from milk and milk products, so crushing some nuts with water in the blender before adding the fruits does the trick for me ❀️

Happy cake day and bump!
Fruits, I eat a lot, daily. Vegetables, I try, but not very successful. I guess it was a matter of education.
If I ever have a garden, I'll also plant vegetables, because some are really beautiful. For example tomato plants were used as decoration before they let forgo the belief that tomatoes were toxic. Pumpkin plants have these really large leaves, and amazing yellow giant flowers.

Happy Cake Day!

I love cooked veggies, especially green beans, broccoli & asparagus. I cannot eat most raw veggies because there is an enzyme I'm allergic to in uncooked veggies that changes when they are cooked.

Was raised as being mostly vegetarian, in a family with 5 kids. So my parents often saved money by buying things in season, and in large amounts. So i got to gorge on certain foods and getting to feel the result. Like the difference between spending weeks in the fall snacking on nothing but apples, and blackberries we picked along the road, compared to winter time, and making heaps of pasta with marinara.

Years later when i moved out on my own, i got to experience what my body felt like when eating large amounts of meat, or candy. After decades of this kind of training, i now cant really see as most things in a supermarket as "food", to me they're mostly "food-flavored" products, with actual food peppered around to give you the illusion that it's all food.

Just because it is edible, or FDA approved, does not mean you should eat it, or be oblivious to how it effects your body.

Food is fuel and medicine. The closer you get to the source of that food, the purer you'll find that fuel and medicine becomes.

I'm not entirely sure what you want to know about my "relationship with fruits and vegetables"... There are no fruits or vegetables that I won't eat (at least, of the ones I've tried so far ... for example, I haven't tried a durien yet)... but there are some I don't like: Lima beans and most squash. I love summer because of all the fruits that are available, I take a little bit of kale (gives it some fiber, and contains more vitamin C than an orange) and two or three different fruits (I mix and match different fruits each time), plus some 100% fruit juice and ice, and make all sorts of different smoothies. Sometimes I'll mix in flax (or even chia) seeds. Makes a great on-the-go breakfast, and it's healthier than pretty much everything else I could get my hands on.

I must confess I'm just a big child who never learned that vegetables while yucky are good for you so I avoid most of them. Most fruits are nice but lazyness keeps me from eating too much of it

Hello, I bumped into one of your public giveaways which was somewhere in the middle of a train.
Then I wondered why one would do a train with only public giveaways.
Then I found the thread and got the explanation.
Then I found a ticket to a private level 4 train.

Well, no need to notify you then, you figured it out by yourself.
And thank you for the ticket to the second train, I'll go check it out. πŸ™‚

Edit:
I forgot to read the last paragraph of your post, let me catch up on that.

Relationship with fruits and vegetables... hmm... can't say much about it, they're not very talkative and die quite fast; I never considered one being my partner.

Jokes aside, it really depends on the fruit or vegetable itself. I think it is easier to name the one I really dislike: Fennel.
Pumpkin is also quite far down on the list. I really like its seeds or the oil of it, though.
I'm not a big fan of apples. While I don't mind the taste, I mind more the texture. I find it difficult to find an apple that isn't too hard but also not too mealy.
Otherwise I like fruits and vegetables more or less.
I regularly buy bananas and strawberries, so I guess that means they're higher on my list.
Sometimes I buy cucumbers and avocados.
Onions baked in a pan are tasting good to me too.
Oh, oh, I forgot a very important one. Potatoes, yes, potatoes. Especially fries. Yummy. But chips/crisps meh... there it's really only about the spices.
I also enjoy chillies in sauces.

Now let me see what I can say about the emojis you posted. Looks like there are cherries and pineapples I didn't talk about. Cherries are nice, they grow in my father's garden. Though, it's difficult to find the right time to visit him so I find ripe cherries that haven't been eaten by the birds already. Birds don't care much if they're ripe, so many are gone by then. Pineapple is... almost a love-hate relationship. I like the taste, I like to eat a whole one on my own. Unfortunately, it also makes my mouth and tongue hurt, I guess it's the pineapple's acids.

Um...I love some fruits but few vegetables, when eaten raw (even if with dressings in case of salads). But if anything goes, I prefer vegetables and usually like eat most of them in at least some form.
