I once won a 3-day trip to an outdoor adventure park and I could take 3 friends with me.. I think that was worth about $900
also I won a couple of art prints from different contests on instagram :P

Years ago, I won two tickets for a Bruce Springsteen's concert. Not my favourite singer, so I gave them away to some random people. They enjoyed the concert really much I've been told.

I used to attend a lot of anime and sci-fi, fantasy etc conventions and participate in a lot of Trivias in the past, so won a lot of geeky stuff this way (books, mangas, DVDs, board games, plushies, figurines etc) - but I consider it different kind of "win" - it were not raffles or lotteries but rewards for being 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a contest ;)

As for actual RNG stuff - once I won a big raffle by polish sci-fi/fantasy publishing house, the reward was all books published this year, so in total I got 2X books from them worth 250-300$ in total, it was nice ;) On some FB fanpages I won few other books and at one gaming fair I won SteelSeries Prize Box containing Siberia v2 headset, big Diablo 3 QCK MousePad, TShirt, baseball cap and bunch of small bonus stuff - stickers, keychain, magnet etc.

From what I remember when I used to enter online competitions.
I won a signed book + set of accessories and a Revo cube.

I won an iPad once, a bit after release when it was a huge deal, in a competition to create a website slogan.

Needless to say I dropped it on the ground 2 days later and it left marks on the case and it ruined the experience for me.

Won a car once in a raffle. :)

A few of years ago I was the 999,999,999 visitor of a site and was lucky enough to win an iPhone 3. Still awaiting to receive it.

I remember I won a cool pen on a birthday when I was like 7. I remember it because I thought (wow this is the first time I won something).

You mean there is life outside of Steam and gaming?I have not won anything in real life unless a lotto ticket counts but i am not sure that really counts as winning since you have to pay to win and i have never won more then i actually invested still can be fun to buy a scratcher once in awhile.

I won a copy of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls half an hour before release during a contest held on TeamSpeak by a fansite, where they made questions and first to answer correctly would get a copy of the game. And a 50$ Steam giftcard during last year's Summer sale. And a copy of Van Helsing 1 complete pack during a stream on Twitch. And games here :P

And those are the things I can remember. I might have won a few other odds & ends over the years, but nothing big.

I don't quite remember, there was a lot, but now I only remember few: ticket for concert at philharmonic, books abour neurobiology, lingerie set, some anime, some money from lottery ticket, and I got a lot of stuff from contests at school (various subjects), I don't remember much of them sadly, most notable was getting ~800 EUR at the end of high school.

I won one thing once. At Bingo, I won a fishing rod back when I was about 8.
