I know, there are some threads for leftover keys here, but I had the feeling, I Need to clarify something with this "throw out" because I created 3 giveaways of Insurgency, but had one "lazy" winner and - sorry for the small flame here - a "lazy" Supportmember, which of cause will not be named here.

I created those giveaways around 4 weeks ago, contacted the Support for a helping hand/what to do/a reroll around 2 1/2 weeks ago with the comment that the key will expire "soon". First of all to the one who one the game. Tried to contact him via mail (10 minutes after the giveaway ended), about 5 days later, 1 key was not taken, so added the one with no insurgency via steam, first via Chat, than posted on his Profile. After 2-3 massages and after he was online 2-3 times, i decided to send him another mail, still no Response. Again after a few days and the winner being online 2-3 times and trying to contact him with still no reaction I decided to contact the Support.

I got one quicker answer in which i was told to "proof" that i still have the key, trying to conact the winner etc. I wrote back how/where to send screenshots, but sadly never got a Response again for about a week now. I'm writing this - officially - because this giveaway is still open with "awaiting Feedback" Status and i have no clue whether it's ok to "throw out" the key or not, but since it's expiring, I decided it'd be the best to make some ninja lucky bevor no one gets the key.

Some Feedback would be nice, otherwise sorry for wasting your time here ;)

mistake #1) public ga with no cv restriction for a key that will expire.
mistake #2) you should contact the support the second 1 week period ended.
mistake #3) you should add proof to your ticket when you originally submitted it to make things faster. you didn't even send screenshots at second time, when you were asked to do so? there are countless picture hosting sites. you should just upload to one of them and update your ticket with the url. why did you even ask how/where? :|
mistake #4) you dropped the key and it's gone. you still had 12 hours to make things right.
reminder #1) support members are doing this as voluntary. they're not paid (that's what we have been told anyway. CONSPIRACY).

phew ... well how should i have known that? thought cv is just an "do it as you wish" Option not a Thing someone should or must do to ensure things.
and why already contact the Support so fast, if the guy was online? I Thing trying to contact him severaltimes was better then bothering the Support quite fast. there was proof in my ticket (link to his steam Profile with my comment on it) and the Moment i read your post, i facepalmed myself for not thinking of any uploadside for Pictures (well i never use this stuff, might be a little excuse). Last but not least, 4 weeks have gone in the wind, 1 with the supportissue open, nothing happend, why should it in the last few hours ?
And I already heard, they do it voluntary and I bet they do as good as they can, but when time runs out, i don't like it when it gets kinda tight
