Because of the GUILT of receiving something for nothing!!! GUILT GUIIIIIILT

Because it continues the cycle of "giving" among the Steam community.

Also, it makes me look generous; the higher your level, the more considerate you appear. People will take a higher level user more seriously than a lvl.0 user (in my honest opinion)

Because when I make public GAs, I can get rule offenders suspended/banned instantly after it ends, as those tickets are resolved really quickly :P

because believe it or not life isn't all about taking. give some stuff away, level up, participate in smaller giveaways = have better chance of winning games.
