They can still troll you - they add some funds to wallet and if you won't notice it and won't run to support for help and instead spend them, they will chargeback in some time and your account will be considered cancer due to chargebacking.

I've gotten that [duplication] several times in the past [primarily through basic farming, but also once through a booster]. It seems to be pretty common. :/

That has actually happened to me more than once. The chance of something like that happening should be really low (1/36 for a game with 6 cards), but it just keeps happening

It will happen every now and then, especially on games with only 5 or 6 cards, like Magic 2015. 1 in 36 chance. I had it happen with Defy Gravity (1 in 25).
Rhetorical question now: Do you find it particularly remarkable when you win a giveaway on this site with worse odds than 1 in 36?
