Normally I'd have Hamilton in first but this is a track that many are expecting to suit Ferrari better than Mercedes, who are also due for some mechanical difficulties. Then again, so are Ferrari...

Probably Verstappen lol! I like Max although as a Hamilton fan I'm secretly hoping that Max torpedoes into Vettel at the first corner.

Hee, thanks for the reminder ;)
So, the circus finally comes around to my place. Honestly, I'm proud we can keep hosting this race for another few years to come. So many thrills and spills happen every single year, even if this track doesn't pose many overtaking opportunities, it's always been a joy to watch (and I'm not speaking this because I'm being patriotic LOL, it's a seriously pretty and awesome race).
Anyway:

Yeah, he kept his line as straight as possible and Raikonnen pushed right.
Remember Brazil? Max could have given driving lessons here today... And then that happens...
Must be said that Raikonnen and Hamilton both had really good starts compared to the rest.

Well that's an upsetting start, 3 of the top 4 cars in the starting grid out already. Looks like both Ferrari guys were too aggressive to claim their line in the first corner, Verstappen had nowhere to go. Vettel probably wasn't even aware Kimi was alongside to make it three-wide..

Singapore Grand Prix
How it works
Predicting the winner would be much too easy in a field of twenty where only four drivers will likely contest most wins. To make things more interesting you will have to predict the top three finishers in the correct order and do so before the start of the qualifying session on Saturday.
Once the season has finished I will create a special winner's event for everyone with correct predictions for a shot at some nice games.
Race Preview
A 'night' race; by driving in the evening the race can be broadcast at the same time as all the European Grand Prix. Daniel Ricciardo came second the last two years; can he make it a trilogy? In a recent interview he's said that he's losing patience with Red Bull: "I went through that impatient phase for sure, and I am still bordering that - because I don't want to leave F1 without a championship". Verstappen is even more unhappy right now but with Bottas extending his contract this week there's no room at any of the top teams. Red Bull needs a huge rules change next season to be able to compete, I fear.
