What is better?
I have 2 cats and a rabbit. The rabbit does have a big cage, but is trained to use a litter box so he can be free all day long when I'm home.

Me and my brothers have had three rabbits during our childhood. I like rabbits because they're silent and their poos don't smell and are easy to clean!

I've always been a huge fan of dogs! Sadly my 11 year old Pomeranian was killed last week :[ But animals are pretty awesome in general <3

I very like dogs =3 but I have no possible to live with one cause time, allergy and place for a dog.
If you are looking information about animals than you are possible to take big part from "furries" - each of them have favourite animal and lot of information about it.
Do not forgot that dogs are not cats and they need to live as ur friend or partner (they need to take 1/3 of ur freetime as minimal).
I know that husky is hard to teach for beginners, but golden retrivers are best for beginners.
Anyone know what is breed of dog on my user pic? I think it is kind of shepard but not "white shepard" I guess. (sorry for off-topic)

Retrievers are actually a bad idea for a lot of beginners. They require a lot of time and attention, more so than many other breeds, and if you can't give it to them, the result is not good.
Huskies are quite independent, so they don't take as much time, but they're very stubborn, so they're difficult to train. (I have 2 of them)

ive had cats,dogs,hamsters,birds,bunnys, 0.0 not honestly sure what else, i have two cats at the momment, one with blue and yellow eye, pure white cat.
the other stripped with little bit of orange mixed in.

2 weeks ago, the allergist confirmed that I'am allergic to dogs :(.
Anyways, this little bastard is Alpha. He is the reason of my constant urticaria and nasal congestion! Will always love this hairy little fu**er!

We had a black labrador when I was little. Called him Black. Devilish creature, wanted to eat me when I gave him food ;3

I think animals are really amazing exhibits of nature, and have 2 cats (pic below) and love to watch animal and nature documentaries on TV, and look at the animals at the zoo even though it makes me sad that they are not out running free in the wild.

Looks are deceiving. The one on top (Freida) is pure rotten. Lovable, but rotten. When my oldest son was about 4, someone asked him what kind of dog he had, he said "a bad one" (he thinks she is his, and the bottom one is my younger son's).
The bottom one (Crosby) is a saint. He's not much smarter than a rock, but he'll put up with anything the two boys do to him, wagging his tail all the way.
We had a third Basset named Cortez, but he passed away last year.

I have a rare, all black colored, sphynx cat named Athena and this particular breed act like dogs. They are very playful and very affectionate. I used to have two dogs, but I wasnt home alot due to working alot of hours and school. Dogs need way more time to clean, walk, and train them. Once I gave sphynx cats a try its like the best of both worlds. Very little maintenance is required since they are hairless and clipping their nails with a nail cutter is easy. I'm severely allergic to cats as well, but since the hair isnt an issue the dander doesnt really bother me as much anymore since I've grown resistant to it.

sadly no pet, need to get a fair bit of work done on my flat before it would be a good idea to get one and I've no idea how long that will take, but will probably look to getting a cat and/or a dog

Voted 'cat' but I'm an all-round animal lover. Always have been.
Currently I have cats and a pony, I've had a fish previously and snails. When I get a big enough place, I'd like to start keeping & breeding apple snails. I have a friend who breeds guinea pigs and wouldn't say no to one of those either... They're so cute & funny.

Well my pony is actually a horse by breed (Arabian) and by height (14.3 hh/150 cm)... But personality is all pony. :D I've had her for 3½ years now and it's been... interesting. In someways so much easier than people always said owning a horse would be but occasionally also way harder. :) But I was the smart person who went and bought the most difficult horse I'd ever met as my first horse. xD Ah, the joys of arrogance meeting stupidity.
That being said, I think she's just the right size for me. I'm really short and I know I wouldn't enjoy a very tall horse, even the everyday stuff like grooming would annoy the living hell out of me. -.-

I used to have a bearded dragon, a gecko, a sandsnake, and a skink.

oh, and a hamster named snakebite. Dave got him as a treat for the snake, but the snake didn't eat him, so my other roommate insisted on keeping him as a pet

Hi all, I was thinking that I have seen many cat lovers but no animal else, not even dogs and has surprised me, so I wanted to ask if there were more animal lovers in general like me, I have had birds , fish, even a snail xD and I'm thinking about getting a dog, I like husky and golden retriever, and I like wild animals big felines, wolf and eagle.
