Perhaps first try to contact him and tell him that the key is duplicated. He might be able to provide a working one. And if that does not help, THEN wait 7 days and mark as not received.

You should try contacting the creator of the giveaway and address him with the issue, and if he still doesn't helps you with the issue you should simply mark it as unrecieved after a week.
