I didn't see any forum threads on here about this game, so I thought I'd make one and see what the SG Community thought of it. (There is no Giveaway here, this is just me talking about a game and looking to see if anyone responds).

Essentially, it's a game heavily influenced by Star Trek where 5 (or fewer) people work together to man/control certain parts of the ship from a perspective of a Panel Interface (it's not first or third-person, it's a simulator). As a party game there is supposed to be 1 Captain who doesn't interface with the game, but rather communicates and orders the other players (Helm, Science, Comms, Engineering, and Weapons).

But, if you work well enough, you don't need a captain. I've actually found 4 people to be the best number of people (combining Science and Comms primarily and letting others also carry Comms for when they're not busy).

The Issue with this game, however, is that it is exceedingly difficult to play by yourself and there is no Matchmaking system. You have to have friends ready to play and your port forwarded so they can connect to your IP.

For $7, if you have a tight group of gamer friends, I recommend the game and would welcome any people who would like to play with me sometime.

Additionally, the game is available on Android and iOS and is currently compatible with the PC version (2.0). So, you can have your phones and tablets connected as well which is kind of nice because I like setting up my tablet as a "Captains Map" so I can get a lot of information at a glance and simply tap the screen to get more.

Anywho, that's all I'll say. I want to play the game, but it's hard to get people to group together to play it :P

I have played this at LAN parties, so much fun. Definitely more fun when everyone is in the same room.

Absolutely. I got some friends together the first time we discovered the game (back in version 1.7) and we quickly set up a "bridge" with a long table of ply board with a sofa and had a main screen connected to the TV. It was a glorious, geeky moment.
