Funny thing is, you're probably right :P
I really wonder what differences will be between TES games and TES-Online. Will it only be even more dumber characters to meet (instead of AI, 12-years-old-OMG-LOL-kids) or will something change between single-player-TES and TES-Online.

I would assume the world would be so much bigger with a lot more stuff to do. Also from a video I saw there will be HUGE battles.

You should be too busy playing Daggerfall to even play any of the other games.

I wanted to play it, and I downloaded it but couldn't figure how to run it, same with Arena...I even downloaded the msDOS emulator thing you need for it, too complicated

I played it when it was released, was my first TES game and the best for me, but yeah, is complicated play it right now, i recommend you if you really want to play it run it in a virtual machine

I don't think there are any details about the subscriptions plan. So who knows it may be F2P from the start. Thought i would preffer Buy2Play (GW2 like). I think this is one of the best options. Anyway i just hope it's not P2P, it's going to suffer it they go that way :( and so far i like it (with the exeption that you can explore only your faction lands (and Cyrodiil becouse it's PVP). :(

Plenty more, just tired of listing them.

Lol dude, you should check what MMO stands for. Hint: moba games or CS are not MMOs.
ps: I've played Aion when it was P2P for ~2months and I got bored. Anyway, if you think the game is balanced when you can buy ingame items from cashshop, and people how don't pay have to farm a bunch of hours for any of those items, you have a problem.
Comment has been collapsed.
So if your bored....it doesn't count? Got it.
Also Boosting items doesn't equal P2W, its just an option for those that want to get to a certain place quicker. When they start selling weapons that are more powerful then the ones found/bought with in game money then its an issue...

Boosting items doesn't equal P2W? Let's say I spend 100$ and I buy 15copies of some item (and you have to farm ~50hours to get 1x that item). Now I enchant every single of those items until I get one overenchanted weapon. Since I deal more damage as tank with my overenchanted sword, than you deal as DD, I think the item shop makes the game unbalanced.
PS: This was the last reply. I don't want to waste my time arguing with a guy who doesn not even know what he's talking about + thinks that LoL is a MMO.

I never said LoL was an mmo....
Convo:
Me: "Exactly, not every f2p games is pay2win."
You: "name one"
Key words to look for: Game.

K, I`ll make a review for you. Do you see? We talk about MMOs, not about MOBA / multiplayer games in which they make a bunch of money by selling stupid skins / flowerpower weapons or golden M4A1.
"I don't think there are any details about the subscriptions plan. [...]" , said MiFOEvSS
I replied with this: "I hope there will be no item mall." and after that I said that you spend more money on F2P MMOs, but on P2P / B2P ones.
Your reply is "Sure if you have no self control."
And this guy (Shierzi) sais, "Only kids use money on Freemium MMO... Buying advantages is unfair and sickening."
ps: if you follow the discussion, you can see we were talking about MMOs. And again, I`m sick of arguing with you - go away!

Aion and a couple other free MMO's(Including Planetside 2 actually) are not considered by the large majority as p2w.
Boosters are not considered p2w items, my opinion, deal with it, and I don't have to go away, who are you really? Immature....
Comment has been collapsed.
I've played my fair amount of them. Never spent a €.

f2p games make money hand over fist compared to p2p
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh. Face-palm. I miss read you comment as being I would prefer Pay-2-Win rather than what you said (Buy2Play)...
I was going to make a remark like you are the first person I know who likes p2w games ._. fail on my behalf

You spice girls upper in this line of conversation just look for Darkfall Online & the new darkfall online :) also Runescape & Everquest 2 seemed epic to me. Darkfall btw only for the most hardcore gamers :> open pvp & full loot system :X

Probably not. Most MMO-business doesn't seem to get along too well with Steam.

I'm just going to jump on the hating-CoD-bandwagon and add that you can always say that 'CoD is going to be shit cos it'll be the same as last year and that was shit' etc.
In all honesty, I don't see why everyone hates CoD, ok they churn out a game every year and make a fuck-ton of cash doing so but who can blame them for using a formula over and over again if it works and pays well?
I'm not a massive fan of the only CoD I've ever owned (Black Ops) but it's not the worst game I've played...
(Just in case you don't see my point, I'm judging CoD pre-release in the same way ne0lit is saying don't just Elder Scrolls Online pre-release. :P)

As I said, I don't hate the series, I just think there are better games out there to play. Might try it if I can find it somewhere.

Quite probably, Bethesda/Zenimax publishes most of their games on steam.

I hope it might be, it would be the first MMORPG i'm actually interested in

Considering the continually updating nature of most MMO clients, if it gets released on Steam, it would most likely work like Rift. Almost impossible to get to launch on Steam and then updates outside of Steam - causing the version on Steam to be out of sync and thus being a real pain in the bottom.
Comment has been collapsed.
I think it will, plus all the in-game stuff will be for sale on steam too :D
Comment has been collapsed.
After looking at gameplay, I'm going to pass :S Despite my love for the elder scrolls series, I'm not a fan of MMOs and certainly not a fan of watered down gameplay.
F2P on Steam will make me consider trying it out, but nothing else anywhere else.
