Who else loves physical disks more than digital copy of game?

It depends on implementation. Between a platform like Steam and a physical disc, Steam wins hands down. Between a physical disc and a digital copy that I could lose and never recover if my computer crashed? Or that includes terrible DRM that only lets me install on a single machine? Yeah, I'll take the disc, please.

I love having physical games but sometimes you just can't deny that you really get a bang for your buck with Bundle games and Playstation Plus.

The computer makes lot of noise when read a CD, i like boxes but i dont like put my CD everytime i want to play, im lazy :O

With PC, I prefer digital now. With consoles, I prefer discs/cartridges (was saddened to find out that Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies is a digital only game).

Steam has been my preferred platform for a while now, basically since I got a couple of disks with Steam keys attached.
Thing is, Steam just works.

With DVDs, you have to swap disks all the time (everything has copy-protection, like it or not). There are even copy protection schemes that mess around deep within your system. To avoid this, I generally used cracks, which is more work to setup and more work to patch the game. That is, if you actually learn about a patch, since you have to actively look for it yourself every now and then.

And DVDs don't really protect you from anything. In addition to the copy protection on the disk itself, publishers like to add propietary DRM mechanisms on top of that -- registration keys that only work a few times and dongle the game to your hardware, for example. It's not like DVD games are "unprotected", they combine all the bad aspects of copy protection and DRM into one ugly mess.

For me, Steam is an excellent compromise, provided you fit into their target audience. Forget "sharing" your games with family members -- even "family sharing" won't change that. However, if issues such as these don't apply, Steam is very comfortable and lets you concentrate on the one thing games are meant for: playing the game.

EDIT: and concerning boxes -- forget these. If you are like me and prefer cheap games, you're only getting a standard DVD case anyway. And if you get a real box it's generally cheap rather than special.

The only reason for buying physical copy is for collecting... and soundtrack (most digital give mp3 while I WANT LOSSLESS!

I have a metric shit ton of physical discs, that do not work due to oxidation.
Useless.
Hell I bought Diablo II & LoD 4 times to keep playing. Same with WarCraft III, Halo and a few others.
That doesn't even count scratched discs.
I may like boxes, But I really like Digital downloads, as long as the source is trusted and allows many years of downloading like Steam, Blizzard, Origin, Amazon and a few others.

I prefer physical game copy over digital.
Exceptions would be for games that are only available via download.
When it comes to old games that have been updated for newer OS, I prefer GOG versions before any other version. After that, I guess I'd have to say I'd want to be able to play old games on DOSbox or something like that instead of digital download for my physical game copies.

With the Double Find Adventure Game kickstarter, I made sure that I got a physical copy of the game.

For a lazy person like myself, searching for a disk and then putting it on the drive is an incredibly tedious chore.
I do like the good ol' pc game boxes though: 1
Now you have to pay 100 dollars for a "collectors edition" that has less stuff than the standard versions had 15 years ago :(
