Such unfortunate events are sadly happening to a great extent every day. Such cases cannot only be witnessed in Yemen, but all over the world. That is to say, some individuals that show this kind of abuse and downgrade the value of a life, propose a threat not only to human ideals, but to humans themselves. I as well stumble upon such incidents and all I can get out of this is shame and disgust. Either way. there are countless organizations that save animals all over the world, even in the smallest of towns, and I suggest to every each one of you that you should contact them if you see any animal that looks like it needs help, that would make a huge difference. Bump for awareness.

Off topic - God isn't real, you're being brainwashed by your religious institutions into servitude.
On topic - How many people have you saved today?

That's so sad. I can understand animals getting neglected when there's not enough money to care for the humans in a region, but purposely hurting animals is just so inhuman. Animal cruelty is even a general predictor of violence towards other humans. I guess that doesn't quite apply when people have been conditioned to do it by cultural norms since childhood, but then again that doesn't speak well for the society that perpetuates such norms.
All I can say is, don't lose hope. Even if you only make a small impact, that's still much more than what most people do. And things will get better, guaranteed. I know it may not seem like it, as the modern world's vast access to information often ends up highlighting the worst things, but almost every region on the planet is getting better, faster than ever. People everywhere are becoming more empathetic, more tolerant and more reasonable. (Yes, really.) I'm willing to bet that as time goes on, you'll find ever more people who think like you. Eventually, probably within your lifetime, there will be enough of you to pressure society into changing its norms. You just gotta stay strong and hold onto your beliefs while you're still a small minority.
