I'm already on the Starfarer alpha since last year and it becomes better and better. The end product should prove really good.

If Stoic is to be considered an Indie studio, then The Banner Saga whose KS campaign ended a few weeks ago is the one I'm mostly interested in (not playable right now).

You can think of it as a mature Viking world TRPG with mainly based on King of Dragon's Pass for the choices and developpements and Final Fantasy Tactics for the tactical aspect.

It still has a long road, but it is very interesting, I survived 2 game weeks, only to be scrached by a zombie while leaving the fortress, eventually got zombified, and I liked that I could start a new but in the same world, so I could find my old house, and the Zombie walking around inside xD

Been following project zomboid for a while now and been playing it since they had that first release to the public. Loving the new system they have going right now to pick stats and the new combat system they are developing. I think stairs without banisters have killed me more then zombie bites in the game so far tho lol

I tend to hole up in the apartment complex on the top floor since zombies cant see that high up. Unfortunately the stairs are cursed and I usually end up falling through at some point in the game

That list does look mouth-watering. SCP Containment Breach, Project Zomboid and loving all those sci-fi ones as well (i.e. Starfarer, Xenonauts, FTL)

We're hoping they go through with their promise, so that we get this:

25'000 kilometers of procedurally-generated, playable terrain
every building can be entered and turned into a stronghold
every zombie can be killed
you can also kill other players
exploration is rewarded.

But what you think about their pricing? I think asking 25$ for an Alpha discount is high imho.

You do get DETOUR (on Steam) when you buy the 25$ reward. I'm thinking the final game will be priced at normal triple A price.
