Yeah, I've checked for that, too. Regretting not getting someone to gift it to me while I still could.
But yeah, if I recall correctly, most key stores still have region-free keys in stock, so that's why I want to get it while I still (presumably) can.

The new steam trading rules only apply to Steam gifts. Keys should be the same arrangement as they were before (with region locking specified by the publisher).

Pretty much the title, with the recent changes on region-locking, would I be able to activate an Amazon key if I managed to get one? Been thinking about picking it up for a while, but since it's not available on Steam in my region, I never did. And now that cross-region gifting is dead, this would be one of the only ways to get it.
