Darklands was a real tough one, plus had a game breaking bug at te very end for complete frustration. After the patch I was able to finish it, but none of my friends ever did.

Remake of Rise of the Triad. Hardest game I have EVER played, and still have fun each time I try to beat that one level.

There are many, but if I had to say one... Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Playing the game in Revengeance difficulty is like asking to be raped, seriously. I could also add The Witcher 2 (Insane) and DE:HR in Give me Deus Ex mode. Oh, and Mortal Kombat 2, now that was a hard game.

I'm not too sure what the hardest game that I played was. I do remember that CoD: WaW on veteran difficulty was hard enough to make me rage. Never ending grenade spam with the accuracy of a fly tracking down shit.

Ninja Gaiden on original xbox(not black version cause it has easy mode),I never made to the 4th boss,kept getting killed by the first fiend.Ninja Gaiden 2 for xbox 360/ps3 would be close second but I was able to beat it on master ninja eventually.
