I got 2.55$ more to spend so I hit another 10$ and get another Getaway (getaway, stay away stay away) card before the Sale ends and I really have no idea what to get; any suggestions/recommendations for games that are around that price?

Might get the RAGE DLC but I just uninstalled it recently, mid-game it gets repetitive and 25 GB is a hefty price for a game I seldomly play so I'm not so sure about it...

Why don't you just buy a card from the market, if you want it? 10 cents or whatever they are now

To be honest, couldn't care less about the card itself, it's more just an opportunity that presents itself or somehow a missed one when I end now at 7.45$ spent... Guess that's how Valve gets their extra bit of money lol

Cards are meant to be sold, not bought. ;)

I don't know if you'd be into it, but Winter Voices is an interesting and unknown episodic game, $1.24 an episode.

Really not an Adventure fan unfortunately.. would have alot of Adventure games at that price actually.. too bad I guess, thanks for the tip though :)

You can't go wrong with The Binding of Isaac for $2.50. You can easily sink 100 hours into it if you like it.

Got it a long time ago, unfortunately I do not really like it aka I suck at it, so only got 3 hours logged in as of now :D

If you don't have it, Civilization V Gold Edition Upgrade. It gives you Gods and Kings which is 7.5$ by itself.

D: G&K is included in the Upgrade, that's pretty sick.. already got it though, great game :)

Retro/Grade is $2.50 (-75%)

Others to consider: Under The Ocean, Mutant Blob, Sine Mora.

Eschalon if you are into slightly old-school (late 90's) CRPGs.
Dungeons of Dredmor with all DLC costs $2.5. Great Rouge-like, one of those games that you can easily spend 50h+ with.
Divine Divinity Silly name aside, it is a stellar CRPG. Slightly Diablo like, but with a good story and great music.
To the Moon is likely to make you cry. Keep some tissues nearby.
Defense Grid I'm usually not a huge fan of tower defense games, but this one was rather good. It had personality, and a good difficulty curve.
Nethergate It might be ugly, but the writing is good, it is lengthy and most importantly fun.
Ben there, Dan that! & Time Gentlemen, Please! are two short adventure games. Ugly, yes, but anyone who has played Sam & Max, Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle will find a lot to like here. Anyone who has not played those has not lived, and thus the obvious next thing to spend your money on is one of those (Seriously, they are must-plays).
The Void is odd, beautiful, challenging, confusing and absolutely amazing. A must play, in particular for those who claim that we have done everything that can be done in games.
Cargo! The Quest for Gravity When was the last time you kicked a naked hairless dwarf, in order to make it happy, so that you can harvest its fun as it explodes, and then resurrect it by throwing metal into a whirlpool so that a volcano erupts and the naked hairless dwarf is thrown out of it?

to note, I traded for cargo! and the Void the past week for much, much cheaper as long as you're willing to risk gunning for steam keys. Both have been bundled before, not so long ago.

+1 for To The Moon.

Got some on the list already, was thinking about getting To the Moon but I somehow get the feeling it'll be in a bundle soon so I'm still holding off on getting it :) Thanks for the tips

It has been bundled once (Indie Royale) already. Hopefully it will be featured again, because it is a game that deserves to be played.

Half-Minute Hero; although, I haven't played it myself, so perhaps you can tell me how it is if you do buy it!

Half-Minute hero had a cute concept, but it managed to become rather repetitive after a while (that includes both the humor & the gameplay)

Sorry for saying that, but somehow I came to despise (not really, but couldn't find a less harsh word) games going retro graphics for the sake of being retro graphics... I don't really know why xD

The good thing about it is that it has two graphics mode, one pixel graphics, one JRPG style. (Haven't played it yet, although it's the only game I bought on the sale, but I saw the Total Biscuit WTF.)

Puzzle Quest 2, if it's still 75% off. Took me 43 hours to finish it.

This. No one was trading that one unfortunately, but if you have wallet it's one of your best bets.

Yeah, it's still at 75%... I wish it had a demo so I would know how it plays.

There's a surprising amount of thinking involved during battles and looting. Matching things is more difficult than it looks at first glance.

In any case, it's highly addictive - at least it was for me. I wasn't expecting that and was thinking it's a light casual game that'll take 5-6 hours to finish, and I could do it one hour a day. Ha ha, funny.

Someone have any feedback on Runespell Overture? I remember playing the demo once and quite liked it, saw that it is still 75%

It is alright. The card-combining mechanic is a fun concept, but sadly the game gets repetitive after a short while, as the fights are mostly the same (there are some minor differences, but not enough to make them feel fresh, new & interesting), and the games RNG can really screw you (or your opponent) over. If you really want to try something different, then it is not a bad game to pick up, just don't expect a whole lot of longevity out of it.

Hmm.. I was worried about that. It felt very ...fresh, I'd say, at the beginning with all the magic and whatnot, guess I'll wait for it to get bundled again, afaik it's been already for some times now, thanks for the input :)

Alright, final contestant --> Drakensang, afaik also bundled rather recently, only game that would have interested me just for being an RPG, any thoughts about it? If not Drakensang I think I'll go with Puzzle Quest 2

Drakensang is great. Drakensang: River of Time is even better, but unless you live in the US, you won't be able to get that from any digital distribution site (and boxed copies are not super common). There is a mod out there that increases your movement speed, which I would recommend that you track down.

Hmm just found out it's been bundled.. Damn bundles always getting me to second guess xD

The genre being RPG, it just popped up when I scrolled through Steam games for under 5€. That said, I'll go with Puzzle Quest 2 I think, because A it was never bundled and B I got 2 other RPGs I should finish before venturing into other worlds, here's hoping it'll get bundled again soon somewhere.

Thanks alot for the many suggestions and inputs, very helpful. Happy gaming to all, now that the buying finally ends :D

Yeah, as stated further up, I heard some great things about the game esp. its story and I love a good story in a game, but since it already was bundled some time ago, I'm hoping for another bundle soon :)
