Why don't you just buy a card from the market, if you want it? 10 cents or whatever they are now

You can't go wrong with The Binding of Isaac for $2.50. You can easily sink 100 hours into it if you like it.

Eschalon if you are into slightly old-school (late 90's) CRPGs.
Dungeons of Dredmor with all DLC costs $2.5. Great Rouge-like, one of those games that you can easily spend 50h+ with.
Divine Divinity Silly name aside, it is a stellar CRPG. Slightly Diablo like, but with a good story and great music.
To the Moon is likely to make you cry. Keep some tissues nearby.
Defense Grid I'm usually not a huge fan of tower defense games, but this one was rather good. It had personality, and a good difficulty curve.
Nethergate It might be ugly, but the writing is good, it is lengthy and most importantly fun.
Ben there, Dan that! & Time Gentlemen, Please! are two short adventure games. Ugly, yes, but anyone who has played Sam & Max, Monkey Island or Day of the Tentacle will find a lot to like here. Anyone who has not played those has not lived, and thus the obvious next thing to spend your money on is one of those (Seriously, they are must-plays).
The Void is odd, beautiful, challenging, confusing and absolutely amazing. A must play, in particular for those who claim that we have done everything that can be done in games.
Cargo! The Quest for Gravity When was the last time you kicked a naked hairless dwarf, in order to make it happy, so that you can harvest its fun as it explodes, and then resurrect it by throwing metal into a whirlpool so that a volcano erupts and the naked hairless dwarf is thrown out of it?

Half-Minute Hero; although, I haven't played it myself, so perhaps you can tell me how it is if you do buy it!

This. No one was trading that one unfortunately, but if you have wallet it's one of your best bets.

There's a surprising amount of thinking involved during battles and looting. Matching things is more difficult than it looks at first glance.
In any case, it's highly addictive - at least it was for me. I wasn't expecting that and was thinking it's a light casual game that'll take 5-6 hours to finish, and I could do it one hour a day. Ha ha, funny.

It is alright. The card-combining mechanic is a fun concept, but sadly the game gets repetitive after a short while, as the fights are mostly the same (there are some minor differences, but not enough to make them feel fresh, new & interesting), and the games RNG can really screw you (or your opponent) over. If you really want to try something different, then it is not a bad game to pick up, just don't expect a whole lot of longevity out of it.

I was in the same situation and bought Nail'd, its a fun game

Drakensang is great. Drakensang: River of Time is even better, but unless you live in the US, you won't be able to get that from any digital distribution site (and boxed copies are not super common). There is a mod out there that increases your movement speed, which I would recommend that you track down.

Hmm just found out it's been bundled.. Damn bundles always getting me to second guess xD
The genre being RPG, it just popped up when I scrolled through Steam games for under 5€. That said, I'll go with Puzzle Quest 2 I think, because A it was never bundled and B I got 2 other RPGs I should finish before venturing into other worlds, here's hoping it'll get bundled again soon somewhere.
Thanks alot for the many suggestions and inputs, very helpful. Happy gaming to all, now that the buying finally ends :D

To the Moon is on sale right now for $2.99. I know it's not exactly in the $2.50, but I would definitely recommend it if you've never played it.

I got 2.55$ more to spend so I hit another 10$ and get another Getaway (getaway, stay away stay away) card before the Sale ends and I really have no idea what to get; any suggestions/recommendations for games that are around that price?
Might get the RAGE DLC but I just uninstalled it recently, mid-game it gets repetitive and 25 GB is a hefty price for a game I seldomly play so I'm not so sure about it...
