In my recently ended giveaways, only 3 out of 12 winners expressed a simple gratitude. But... I'm still holding on.. :/
Anyway, because of them, got level up last week. And initially didn't expect anything in return. I took it as a lesson and in future will make more GA's for groups or openly - for L3+ users. I think so.

it doesn't matter what level you are. Most of the people that win and don't thank me are russian, indian, or chinese and they have over 75 - 100% region restricted gives but mostly public wins. That might be a reason for me to switch over to sgtools and just say to hell with public giveaways.But Ive seen lvl 8-10 not even bother with a thanks.

I had an interesting alternative experience to this. Someone won one of my public GAs, didn't thank me and there was no other form of communication. What happened instead? He blacklisted me. (｡◕‿◕｡)

I've been blacklisted on my birthday, 2 of my brothers birthdays, my sisters birthday and Christmas day and to top it all of someone had the nerve to take me off their blacklist last week, now I'm down to 15 (or was until this post). xD

I've only got 1 blacklist and in my case i got it because i told someone that they couldn't give away free games (was dirt showdown from humblebundle)

I think I found the reason you got at least some of the blacklists.... it is for not saying thanks (or some kind of gratitude) to the people whom you won games from. It is pretty much a hidden requirement on this website to say thanks when you win, and of course a generally good thing to do anyway.

The problem with the way Steamgift handles blacklists is anonymity. Imagine if the government was anonymously making so that you are blacklisted by police thus making you have problem with them without knowing why, or bank anonymously blacklisted you for wrong reason yet companies start rejecting your transaction without you knowing why etc...this is fucking horrible as fuck and this lacks of transparency can lead to any abuse.
That's why I think blacklist should be public. If I want to blacklist someone for whatever reason, I should take the responsibility of letting him know, otherwise that's cowardly, almost fascistic abuse.
We live in times where a specific kind of people have taken everybody hostage with censoring any opinion that doesn't fit their narrative (they are ALWAYS the same people): it's time to free yourself, and by that I really mean to be free again to be yourself which means you'll get blacklisted, make ennemies, and so what? Also maybe we look at it the wrong way: maybe we should white list each other more so that we don't fear being blacklisted a few times by the bad ones. So I whitelisted you :)

Hey there.
In my Stats, i can see, that i am on 7 Blacklists, but why? Im never nasty to another people and my trades are always perfect. Also i created many giveaways and everyone got the promised game. When i won, i always marked that as "received".
I dont understand why someone should put me on a blacklist. Any ideas?
