Yesterday I just went through it all bookmarking all the games that interest me keeping my point for those that'll interest me most to give them priority ^^ I recommend doing that, quite a few nice ones near the end ^^

With over 15k hidden games and many owned games it wasn't needed to bookmark something, i only gone through the carts when i had points.

I hope next community train has another rule like "train will be closed on the last X days" so people don't get so many carts in such a short time without points to enter them. It has its positive points but also negative side effects, which hopefully won't affect me since I'm going "low profile". Note that in the last community train the same happened, last days had a real avalanche of new carts.
Said that, this is a fantastic train with many contributors and great new games in it! Thank you Fiddler for organization and thanks to every contributor, double thumbs-up!

funny you said this. cause EVERY YEAR I add in the rule saying people cant make GAs on the 28th and i do this towards the end. and every year i forget to add it to the next one.

Last year I did that on the first train(OUTBOUND TRAIN) and got more people complaining about that than the ones that complained about the "same day finish"(INBOUND TRAIN). So you can't please everyone :)

Can I ask something?
I had once asked if I could give something with a country restriction. It wasn't possible, but I saw some along the way who had them. And I'm not sure if it was for Russia and Belarus.
After searching, I found a game where the price difference did not exceed 10%. But now, it's on 10.01%.
I would like if I can do one more giveaway with only one country restriction (Israel). I don't do it on purpose, but to avoid any problem with my account.
Also, I have 50 minutes until 28/8.

I wouldn't worry too much about it and create it w/o the Israel region lock, not only are the chances of the winner being from there extremely low, but also as a gifter you have 7 days after the GA ends to deliver the game, there's a pretty good chance the price will fluctuate again and drop below 10% during this time period. All this aside, most people will be kind enough to let you delete the GA if any problems arise, you could always deliver the game sometime later since the winner can always change status from not received to received.
Also, even having a few 'non delivered' games isn't that big deal and won't get you and your account in any trouble.

I know the odds would be in my favor, and I've taken risks before, purely my own fault, and it worked out. I realized the mistake that some users pointed out and I wouldn't want to risk it again. :)

The train rules are clear in that regard. No restrictions except for RU & BY on main carts. You already made it a side cart now which shouldn't be a problem. I wouldn't risk making it unrestricted and hoping for the price to change or the winner to not be from that region.

Hello everyone its almost September again. which means there is a train about to start coming through soon .
The OG behind this event is Xarlor who came up with the first community train .
it was done again by UserCar007 with some changes that i have decided to keep. which were disallowing DLCs and adding a game value requirement .The Third one was done by me .And I was greatly helped by Canis and icaio.There was a 4th one byDragoZeroNova. 5th was again done by yours truly with the help of Canis and icaio. The 6TH also by me. and the 7TH by yours truly, Arwiee.
this is gonna be the last train or event i run as i have decided to move on and deactivate my account after the event is over. so i hope that everyone enjoys this ride.
well then , i havent thought of something smart , funny , or anything really to say so lets just jump right into this starting with the rules.
do not delete your GA comments after making them. this is to allow people on your blacklist to give you the link to the next GA even though they cant join your GA.
DO NOT HARASS/INSULT PEOPLE ON THE TRAIN FOR ANY REASON!
Must Start on August 29 (your time) on the earliest
Must end sometime on September 28 (again , your time)
No region restrictions (Russia and Belarus are ok, due to most games not activating there)
Set to "Invite Only"
Game value 5P or more
No DLCs
Set Contributor Level no higher than 4
Post URL in the comments of the last cart in the train.
If there is already a link for another cart in the comments of the last cart, wait until a new cart is added.
Number your cart in the description.
In case of games that haven't been released yet and games that were just added to the SteamGifts database. they will have a 0P cost until release or the Database catches up. so the rule for those is that as long as their cost wont be lower than 5P once that happens , then the game is good. it is easy to figure out what the price range is going to be by simply look at the store page.
No Games that are currently being given away for free (that means at the time you make your GA)
just delete and remake if you make a giveaway public on accident (Mods cant change it to invite only)
you can always make a ticket asking for more GA slots if you need those. mods are normally happy to do that. (not the reading your ticket part)
Check your GA comments regularly until you get a link for the next cart. You are responsible for adding the NEXT link in your GA description to keep the train
growing.
