Hello guys and gals,

I am excited to finally present you the first issue of SGM Monthly!

Our Group worked on it for the past month, and now it is finally here for the SG community to enjoy.

Please click on this for the "Magazine Experience". The recommended method to discover and flip through the magazine's pages! I highly recommend using your headphones while going through the magazine, as the sound effect of flipping the page is really wholesome. Also, keep in mind, for easier navigation use "Control" + scroll wheel to easily zoom in and out on the pages. You can also hold left click to drag around the page. It just makes it easier and more satisfying to read this way :)

I will add a simple PDF version with a much higher quality of the page, but that version will be available tomorrow.

Please consider voting for the review that you've enjoyed the most. The winner will be decided on 15th of March.

Feel free to comment below on the current issue. we're looking forward to your feedback!
For group requests or suggestions, comment in the Central Hub.

edit: The PDF version is available for download here. This version can be printed and it's full HD quality, compared to the magazine version.

No centerfold with mascot or gossips about SG celebrities?

That is our main priority for the next issue, alongside the "love horoscope" I've been working on for weeks now!

Just wanted to give a round of applause to everyone involved in this project and I'm looking forward to seeing the next issue.

It was refreshing reading each review, especially from games I've played was not aware of, and seeing personal reactions to them. Even the extra non-review content was great and made me nostalgic for some of the gaming magazines of old.

Keep up the good work and two thumbs up from me!

Finished reading, while I admittingly skipped some reviews due to me not being interested in the horror genre, it was fun to flip through, kudos to the graphic designer and everyone who helped work on it!

Great to see the result. Looks great and I'm happy for what was achieved.

Interesting to see for myself as well how it looks in the end (my own review). Good retrospective on what to improve next time. But it was fun writing it and hope to get chance more and more.

As a side note - I personally don't like reviews of stuff that much, as they are always all over the place with very generic texts used in marketing. They almost never touch on negative and always feel too commercial. Steam is filled with these types of people who write 1:1 the same thing there is in a description, absolutely never mentioning how it actually is to play the game, with only thinking of how to make it more lengthy and professional sounding. I think in this one we have a good selection of "natural" reviews from normal people.

Wow. Nice one. I have some gaming and teen/kids pop magazine in the past. Games Master and K-zone here in the Philippines. This brings back memories.

depends what you want to do - if you want to be a reviewer or like me a contributor (making giveaways) or both

I'd like to do reviews. It seems like we're free to review pretty much anything, and not just the latest hotness, right?

As long as they are part of the Group Giveaways, yes. Anything goes.

If you're determined to join as a Reviewer, send a group request and I'll accept it.
