Where can I buy Ori and the Blind Forest? [GA added]

Hello guys... I was wondering where can I purchase a legitimate key of OATBF in order to giveaway... I'm from South America so if I purchase them on Steam I guess they would be region locked and I want them to be ROW... Any suggestions? I've looked for it everywhere but I can't seem to find it... Hopefully I will add a GA to this thread in a couple of hours :)

I could buy it for you if you'd send me the money. There are a few "buts" though:

  • you'd have to trust me
  • I'm from EU region, so you'd have to pay our price
  • price of this game isn't a good deal right now (~€12)

They did say that. Personally I would still wait, for several reasons:

  • these practices piss me off. They (kinda) got me with Guacamelee and State Of Decay, now I'm done with this crap.
  • I want it cheaper, anyway.
  • What if they release a separate version instead of a DLC upgrade? Two entries in the library, split achievements, you'd play an inferior version now, then have to replay it all over again when the Definitive version is out. Again, if it happens it happens but I won't buy a game already knowing it's gonna happen.

That's just me, of course. I'm sure the winner of a standard version giveaway would still be very happy. ;)

Examples: Hitman: Absolution - Elite Edition and Divinity: Dragon Commander - Imperial Edition (on Steam).

I'm not sure whether you're agreeing with me or not. :) But in Hitman's case, they did it almost right. There's no direct upgrade option, but:

  • there's a DLC collection which, added to the base game, matches the Elite edition
  • the price of the base game + the DLC pack is only 7 cents more than the Elite edition
  • the difference between the two editions is actual additional content (not discussing its value right now)

In the case of Guacamelee, State of Decay and - it seems - Ori, they are bundling additional content with fixes and improvements and making it all exclusive to owners of the Definitive edition. Denying base game owners those fixes and improvements is WRONG to me.

I was agreeing, however, are you saying the DLC Collection includes Sniper Challenge? To my knowledge it doesn't.

From someone who bought Absolution - Professional Edition + Suit and Gun Collection thinking I would never experience the pre-order exclusive Sniper Challenge I was quite pissed when Elite released without an upgrade package to get Sniper Challenge. Effectively meaning I had to purchase Absolution all over again, which I haven't to this day on principle, nor have I played it. I even contacted Squeenix on two occasions concerning this and was given the generic "we don't know / we can't say" answer. Sale price aside, I wasn't pleased.

Understood the situation and your disappointment. The Sniper Challenge situation slipped under my radar, probably because I got a key that included it from the beginning.
