So... I will try to make it short.
I kickstarted a game and it gave me access to game + dlcs, during development I helped the team translate the game into my native language (not english), at the time I didnt expect anything in return but today I got a email from the devs with a steam key that is supposed to be for the games first DLC (19.99usd released this month). I already have this DLC since it was a kickstart reward but like the moron Im I tried to actived it on steam anyways.

Now I dont know if its used or not... I would like to make a GA with it but if it doesnt work people will report me...
There is any way to check?
Maybe I could do a invite only GA post it here and if it doesnt work people that participated had been warned?
It would be a shame to waste this key.

I am such a idiot.

If when you tried to redeem the code it said "You already have the product" or something along those lines, the code will still work for you to giveaway.

Home>Account> View licenses and product key activations

Even if it doesnt show in your library yet it should show there what keys or stuff you have activated recently.

Guess I'm screwed then.

It shows 2 activations, one for my kickstarter reward that just shows the name of the game and another that shows "Game Name - Development Aid"

It activated because they have different names god damnit

Don't do this. This is becoming too much of a trend and should not be encouraged.

If you want, you can just give it to whoever you want.
